🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta 3 metre extension cable for the electric cooling pump, weighing 0.346 kg and listed for one TWD series engine application.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta TWD1683VE
  • Engine Family: TWD

⚙️ Key Features

  • 3 metre extension cable for the electric cooling pump
  • Weighs 0.346 kg
  • Listed for one TWD series engine application

🔌 Function

Extends the electric cooling pump's connection by three metres, so the pump can be sited away from its supply point without splicing into the main loom.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Cooling pump not running, or cutting in and out
  • Connector shells found wet, or green with corrosion inside
  • Insulation chafed where the cable passes a bracket or an edge
  • Cable pulled tight at a connector, straining the pins
  • Measurable voltage drop across the extension under load

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Support the cable along its run - three metres of unclipped cable will chafe through
  • Check both connectors before suspecting the pump itself

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
