Type H is the stainless steel Duoprop range for the Aquamatic DPH and DPI drives, designed to capture the tremendous torque from the new generation D4 and D6 engines. The patented blade geometry gives optimal interaction between the front and rear propellers for outstanding efficiency and smooth, comfortable operation, and the large blade area provides maximum grip and manoeuvrability. A shock-absorbing rubber bushing and galvanic isolation make it a matched fit for the DPI and DPH drive. This is the H6 front propeller; the matching rear propeller is 23623066, and the pair is also listed as set 22754006. Every set of Duoprop propellers is designed, tested and manufactured together, so the front and rear propellers of a dimension belong to each other.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Vibration that builds with boat speed
• Loss of top speed or the engine over-revving against its limit
• Blade edges chipped, curled or bent
• Line or weed wrapped at the hub, with a leaking seal behind it
• Cavitation erosion across the blade faces

🛠️ Service Notes

• Front and rear must both carry the H6 code; the other half of this set is 23623066
• The H4 front propeller 23623054 carries the same published 11 kg, so weight does not separate the two - order by the dimension code
• Renew the propeller shaft seals and check the splines while the propellers are off
• Upgrading from Type G to Type H on DPH drives keeps the same sizing - a G6 propeller corresponds to an H6 propeller.
• The propeller cone must be replaced to fit Type H propellers: propeller cone kit 23000185.
• Do not mix Type G and Type H propellers. Always use propellers of the same type and size on the drive, or on both drives in twin installations.
• Installation hardware, type H: propeller cone kit 23000185 including lock bolt M12, lock bolt M12 991609, front propeller nut 23952642 and line cutter 23777877.
• The line cutter 23777877 for Type H propellers is 95 mm / 3.7 in, 316 stainless steel, and is included as standard on DPI drives.
