Type H is the stainless steel Duoprop range for the Aquamatic DPH and DPI drives, designed to capture the tremendous torque from the new generation D4 and D6 engines. The patented blade geometry gives optimal interaction between the front and rear propellers for outstanding efficiency and smooth, comfortable operation, and the large blade area provides maximum grip and manoeuvrability. A shock-absorbing rubber bushing and galvanic isolation make it a matched fit for the DPI and DPH drive. Every set of Duoprop propellers is designed, tested and manufactured together, so the front and rear propellers of a dimension belong to each other.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Vibration that increases with boat speed
• Reduced top speed or an engine that runs beyond its usual full-throttle revs
• Chipped, bent or curled blade edges
• Fishing line or weed wound in at the hub with seal damage behind
• Cavitation pitting on the blade faces on strip-down

• Front and rear must both carry the H9 code; the other half of this set is 23623069
• Of the five Type H front propellers listed here, this is the lightest at 9.4 kg, but the range is not fully represented on this page - identify the propeller by its H marking
• Renew the propeller shaft seals and check the splines while the propellers are off
• Upgrading from Type G to Type H on DPH drives keeps the same sizing - a G6 propeller corresponds to an H6 propeller.
• The propeller cone must be replaced to fit Type H propellers: propeller cone kit 23000185.
• Do not mix Type G and Type H propellers. Always use propellers of the same type and size on the drive, or on both drives in twin installations.
• Installation hardware, type H: propeller cone kit 23000185 including lock bolt M12, lock bolt M12 991609, front propeller nut 23952642 and line cutter 23777877.
• The line cutter 23777877 for Type H propellers is 95 mm / 3.7 in, 316 stainless steel, and is included as standard on DPI drives.
