🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta exhaust manifold weighing 7.670 kg. It supersedes part number 22006337 and covers its two TAD series engine applications.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Exhaust manifold from the Inlet and Exhaust System group
  • 7.670 kg
  • Supersedes 22006337 and covers its two TAD series engine applications
  • The heavier of the pair with 23652695

🔌 Function

Collects the exhaust gas from the cylinder ports and carries it to the turbocharger or exhaust outlet as a single flow.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Ticking or puffing at the joint faces, loudest from cold
  • Soot trails or black staining around the studs and gaskets
  • Manifold cracked between ports or across a flange
  • Flange faces found bowed or distorted on strip-down
  • Studs seized or snapped when the manifold is disturbed

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the gaskets and check the head flange for flatness before fitting - a bowed face cracks the new manifold as well
  • Expect to renew seized studs and nuts, and free them with heat and penetrant rather than force
  • Tighten in sequence from the centre outwards and allow the joint to settle before the final check
