🔧 Product Description
Genuine Volvo Penta elbow pipe weighing 2.023 kg. It supersedes 21874796, catalogued earlier as an elbow, and covers its two TAD series engine applications.
⚙️ Key Features
- Elbow pipe
- 2.023 kg
- Supersedes 21874796, catalogued earlier as an elbow
- Covers two TAD series engine applications
🔌 Function
Turns the flow through an angle where a straight run will not fit, joining two sections of pipework at a fixed bend.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Staining or a wet run below the joint faces
- Corrosion or pitting around the flange
- Cracking at the bend where stress concentrates
- Sealing faces found scored or distorted on removal
- Fasteners that will not hold torque because the flange has pulled
🛠️ Service Notes
- Renew the gaskets or seals at both joint faces when fitting
- Check the mating pipework for strain, as an elbow that has cracked once is usually being loaded by misalignment
