⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Diesel smell or a wet film traced to a union
- Union nuts that will not stay tight
- Chafe marks where the pipe has rubbed on a bracket or another pipe
- Cracking at the flare or at a bend on removal
- Hard starting or rough running from air drawn in at a loose joint
🛠️ Service Notes
- Fit the pipe unstressed and secure any clips, as forcing it into place is what cracks the flare
