🔌 Function

Closes off the back of the propeller hub, smoothing the water leaving the blades and covering the shaft nut and threads.

• Cone dented, cracked or with edges eaten away by corrosion
• Vibration at cruise from a cone sitting off centre
• Retaining thread damaged or the fixing hardware missing

• Inspect the propeller shaft seal and the area behind the cone whenever it is off
• Check the cone runs true once tightened - an off-centre cone shows up as vibration at speed
