A shock-absorbing rubber bushing and galvanic isolation make it a matched fit for the DPH drive. Takes the first bite of undisturbed water as the leading half of the counter-rotating G6 pair, turning engine torque into thrust.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Vibration through the hull that grows with boat speed
• Blade tips chipped, bent or curled after contact with the ground or debris
• Engine revving higher than normal for the thrust it gives, which points to the rubber bushing having slipped
• Loss of top speed, or the engine no longer reaching its rated speed
• Rope, weed or fishing line wound in tightly behind the hub

🛠️ Service Notes

• Front and rear must carry the same size code, and type G and type H propellers must never be mixed - use the same type and size on the drive, and on both drives in a twin installation
• Moving to the stainless steel type H propellers keeps the same size, so a G6 corresponds to an H6, but the propeller cone has to be changed as well, using cone kit 23000185
• Clean and grease the propeller shaft splines on refit and check the bushing for any sign of having slipped
• Type G propeller sets have been replaced by either Type H propeller sets or by individually sold Type G front and rear propellers - no complete Type G set number is listed.
• Upgrading from Type G to Type H keeps the same sizing: a G6 propeller corresponds to an H6 propeller. The propeller cone must be replaced to fit Type H propellers (kit 23000185).
• Do not mix Type G and Type H propellers. Always use propellers of the same type and size on the drive, or on both drives in twin installations.
