🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta pressure hose from the Lubricating and Oil System group, weighing 0.491 kg and listed for six TAD series engine applications. It supersedes 22556504, catalogued earlier as an oil pressure pipe. Oil pressure hoses fail from the inside, so any weeping means renewal.

⚙️ Key Features

• Pressure hose from the Lubricating and Oil System group
• 0.491 kg
• Supersedes 22556504, catalogued earlier as an oil pressure pipe
• Listed for six TAD series engine applications

🔌 Function

Carries pressurised oil between two points on the engine, flexing to absorb movement that a rigid pipe could not take.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil weeping or misting around the hose, especially at a crimp
• Oil pressure lower than normal or dropping under load
• Outer cover cracked, chafed, or with the braid showing through
• Hose gone hard, or ballooned near a fitting
• Fittings corroded or the swivel nut seized

🛠️ Service Notes

• Oil pressure hoses fail from the inside - any weeping means renewal, not retightening
• The number it replaces was listed as an oil pressure pipe, so an older parts list may show a rigid part
• Renew the sealing washers at the unions and make sure the hose is not twisted when tightened
