🔌 Function

Pushes air through the radiator so heat picked up by the coolant is carried away, sized and pitched for hot climate duty.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Blade tips cracked, chipped or missing
• Vibration or a droning noise that rises with engine speed
• Coolant temperature climbing when the machine is working at low speed
• Cracks at the blade roots radiating from the spider fixings
• Visible wobble or run-out when the fan is turned by hand

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the serial breakpoint - this fan is for engines from 10687079 onwards
• A pusher fan is pitched and turned the opposite way to a puller; the wrong one moves air in the wrong direction
• Balance matters at fan speeds - renew a damaged fan rather than straightening or trimming a blade
