🔧 Product Description

⚙️ Key Features
- Steering yoke from the Marine Propulsion group
- 3.273 kg
- Supersedes 3857140, catalogued earlier as a fork
- Covers 16 applications across DP, SP, TMD, AD, TAMD and KAD series engines and drives
🔌 Function
Connects the steering linkage to the drive, turning helm movement into drive angle and holding the drive where the helm puts it.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Slack or a knock felt at the helm when the wheel is reversed
- Drive wandering or pulling to one side
- Pin holes or bores worn oval
- Cracks around the clamp or pin bosses
- Corrosion swelling under the paint at the alloy joints
🛠️ Service Notes
- Steering is safety critical - renew the pins, bushes and locking hardware with the yoke and check the whole linkage for play before returning the boat to service
- The old reference 3857140 was listed as a fork, so an older parts book entry under that name is now this part
