⚙️ Key Features

• Cooling system expansion tank
• 3.09 kg
• Supersedes 22821822
• Listed for 13 TAD series engine applications

🔌 Function

Takes up the coolant that expands as the engine warms, keeps the circuit full and pressurised, and gives a place to check and top up the level.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant needing repeated topping up
• Staining, crusted coolant or a wet film down the outside of the tank
• Hairline cracks around the seams or the filler neck
• Coolant blowing out on shutdown
• Discoloured, oily or rusty coolant visible in the tank

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the pressure cap with the tank - a weak cap will make a new tank look faulty
• Pressure test the system before condemning the tank; a combustion leak into the coolant gives the same symptoms
