🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta 1.7 metre power cable, weighing 4.535 kg and listed for two HPCU and TB applications.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta HPCU-A
  • Volvo Penta TB66-150-A
  • Engine Family: HPCU, TB

⚙️ Key Features

  • Power cable, 1.7 metres long
  • 4.535 kg
  • Listed for two HPCU and TB applications

🔌 Function

Carries electrical power between two units in the installation, its length made to suit the run it serves.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Intermittent power, or a unit dropping out
  • Connectors corroded, discoloured or hard to mate
  • Insulation chafed, cracked or melted where the cable passes a hot or sharp point
  • Connector shells hot to the touch, or a burnt smell at a termination
  • Conductor strands broken inside the insulation at a flexing point

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Cable lengths are made to the run - match the 1.7 metre length rather than substituting another
  • Check the mating connectors and their seals before replacing the cable; contact corrosion gives the same symptoms

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
