23903411 Exhaust Manifold | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta exhaust manifold weighing 14.58 kg. It consolidates earlier references 23071592 and 23203498, covering their nine applications across TAD and TADH series engines. Manifold 23903412 also replaces 23071592, so that old number now covers two parts.

⚙️ Key Features

• Exhaust manifold
• 14.58 kg
• Consolidates 23071592 and 23203498
• Covers the nine applications of the numbers it replaces, across TAD and TADH series engines
• Manifold 23903412 also replaces 23071592, so that old number now points at two current parts

🔌 Function

Collects the exhaust gas from each cylinder port and feeds it into the turbocharger or the exhaust run.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Ticking or blowing that is loudest from cold and quietens as the metal expands
• Soot streaks or a black powder trail at the port joints
• Lost power or slow turbo response from a leak upstream of the turbine
• Cracks between the ports or at a flange, found once the shields are off
• Warped or eroded flange faces on strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

• Because 23903412 also replaces 23071592, identify by engine build rather than by the superseded number alone
• Renew the manifold gaskets and nuts - the fasteners are heat cycled and often seize or stretch
• Check the head and turbocharger flange faces for flatness before bolting up
