Closes an opening in the drive housing, sealing it against water getting in and oil getting out.

  • Oil weep at the plug, or water showing in the drive oil
  • Sealing washer flattened, split or missing
  • Drive hex or square rounded off
  • Threads picked up or corroded on removal

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the sealing washer every time the plug is removed
  • Tighten to the specified torque, as overtightening distorts the seat
