🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta hexagon screw weighing 0.069 kg. It supersedes 3586606, catalogued earlier as a pulley part, and covers its ten applications across D and MD series engines.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Hexagon screw
  • 0.069 kg
  • Supersedes 3586606, which was catalogued earlier as a pulley part
  • Covers that number's ten applications across D and MD series engines

🔌 Function

Clamps the parts it passes through, holding them together at the load its thread and head are designed for.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Joint working loose, or the component it holds moving
  • Thread stripped or picked up on removal
  • Head corroded, or rounded by the wrong tool
  • Screw found stretched or necked under the head

🛠️ Service Notes

  • The old number 3586606 was listed under a pulley, so a search on it may return a different-looking entry
  • Tighten to the specified torque - the clamp load is what holds the joint together
