⚙️ Key Features

- 1.364 kg
- Listed for five TAD series engine applications
- Supersedes 23147233
🔌 Function
Opens and closes a plate in the intake tract to set how much air reaches the cylinders, working to the demand from the engine's control system.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Loss of power, or a change in exhaust smoke
- Fault codes for intake throttle position or air flow
- Rough running or stalling at idle
- Butterfly plate and bore coked with soot so the plate sticks
- Actuator not tracking the position it has been commanded to
🛠️ Service Notes
- Clean the intake tract either side of the throttle - a new unit fitted into a sooted bore sticks the same way
- Renew the flange gaskets and check the connector for corrosion before fitting
