🔌 Function

Gives the operator the hand grip on the control unit, transmitting the movement of the hand to the control mechanism behind it.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Knob loose, or turning on its shaft without moving anything
• Detent feel lost, so positions cannot be found by hand
• Grip cracked, worn smooth, or the finish lifting
• Retaining screw or its insert stripped
• Stiff or notchy movement where the control has corroded behind the knob

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the control unit and its shaft before condemning the knob - a knob that will not move is usually a seized control
• The three knobs listed here are within 19 grams of one another, so order strictly by part number
