🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta cover from the Engine group, weighing 1.043 kg. No engine applications are recorded against it, so match the number to your engine's own parts list before ordering.

⚙️ Key Features

• Engine group component
• 1.043 kg
• No recorded engine applications, so order by part number

🔌 Function

Closes an opening in the engine, holding the oil in and keeping dirt and water out, and carrying whatever mounts to it.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Oil weeping from the joint line, or an oily deposit collecting below the cover
• Cover distorted or bowed between its fixings so it no longer pulls down evenly
• Sealing face scored, corroded or pitted
• Fixing holes elongated, or threads pulled, from repeated overtightening
• Cover cracked, usually at a fixing boss or a corner

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the gasket or sealing strip with the cover rather than reusing it, and clean both faces back to bare metal
• Tighten the fixings evenly and progressively from the centre outwards, since pulling one corner down first is what distorts covers in the first place

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
• Brand new
• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
