• Fuel weeping, seeping or dripping from the joints or from the body of the block
• Air drawn into the fuel system, showing as hard starting, hunting, rough running or loss of power under load
• Cracked, corroded or stripped threads and sealing faces found when the pipes are disconnected
• A joint that will not stay sealed however carefully it is reassembled and retightened

• Cap every pipe and port as it is disconnected and fit the block clean and dry; anything that gets past this point goes straight on into the fuel system
