  • Rattle or buzz from the cooling side of the engine at particular speeds
  • The component it supports sitting out of line or moving by hand
  • Coolant weeping at a joint the bracket should be steadying
  • Fixing holes elongated, or the fastener working loose
  • The bracket cracked at a bend or a weld
