⚙️ Key Features

• 3.849 kg
• Listed for five D series engine applications

🔌 Function

Holds a component of the inlet and exhaust system in position and carries its weight and vibration into the engine structure, so the load is taken by the bracket rather than by the pipe joints.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Rattle or knock from the exhaust or turbocharger area under load
• Cracks starting at a bolt hole or running from a weld
• Bolt holes gone oval, with fasteners that will not stay tight
• The component or pipe visibly out of line, straining its joints
• Corrosion blistering the paint where the bracket meets what it bolts to

🛠️ Service Notes

• Order by part number rather than by weight - 24164613 is within a quarter of a kilo and covers the same applications
• Check the mating faces and the fasteners on the component the bracket carries while it is off
