⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Persistent coolant loss with white smoke and no external leak
• Oil and coolant mixing, seen as emulsion on the filler cap or in the tank
• Header tank pressurising or bubbling with the engine running
• Cracking between seats or into the injector bore on strip-down
• Valve seats sunk or recessed and the deck face no longer flat

🛠️ Service Notes

• The number it replaces was a kit, so check which of the kit contents you still need to order separately

• Fit new head bolts and gasket, and check the block deck for flatness and the liner protrusion before torquing down
