⚙️ Key Features

• Plain washer from the Cooling System group
• 0.012 kg
• Supersedes 20551709
• Covers the 13 applications that number carried across TD and TAD series engines

🔌 Function

Spreads the clamping load of the fixing over a wider area, protecting the surface underneath and helping the joint hold its tension.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Fixing found loose or the joint no longer holding tension
• Washer dished, cupped or bedded into the surface below
• Bearing surface marked or fretted around the fixing
• Washer corroded or split

🛠️ Service Notes

• Plain washer for the cooling-system installation on TD and TAD series engines, where it is used in more than one place and in multiples — count what you take off before ordering.
• It supersedes an earlier washer reference, so check the number against your engine's listing if you are working from an older parts record.
• Renew when a cooling-system mounting or pipe fixing is disturbed, and discard any washer that is dished, corroded or scored on its bearing face.
• Tighten fixings to the figure given in the workshop manual for your engine; the washer's thickness is part of the joint, so use the genuine part rather than a general-purpose washer.
