⚙️ Key Features

• Alarm handling display
• Other configurations: 24252971 (EVC system display), 23874096 (steering gear display)

🔌 Function

Displays alarm and warning information from the vessel control system at the helm, so the crew sees a fault raised against the installation as it happens.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Screen blank, dim or flickering at switch-on
• Alarms not shown, or shown late, when the system has clearly raised one
• Backlight uneven or the picture washed out in daylight
• Button or touch input ignored, so an alarm cannot be acknowledged
• Water tracks or corrosion found in the rear connector on inspection

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the supply and the rear connector before condemning the display - a corroded pin gives the same blank screen
• The 7 inch colour display 24252971 is the same size and weight but a different unit, so order by part number
• Treat an alarm display that will not show alarms as urgent - it is the crew's warning of a fault elsewhere
