⚙️ Key Features

• Valve from the Marine Propulsion group
• Listed for two D series engine applications
• No weight is published for it, so it cannot be told from its siblings by mass
• Five similar valves cover the same two engines at different sizes - order by part number

🔌 Function

Controls flow within the drive's circuit, opening and closing the path so pressure goes where it is needed.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• The function the valve controls slow, weak or not operating at all
• Pressure bleeding away when the system is left standing
• Buzzing or chattering from the valve as it operates
• External weeping around the valve body
• Seat or seal found scored, eroded or held open by debris on strip-down

🛠️ Service Notes

• Five valves in this group share the same two applications and differ in size, so order by part number rather than by appearance
• Check the circuit and its filtration before condemning the valve - debris gives exactly the same symptoms
