🔌 Function

Removes particulate contamination from the fuel and separates out water before it reaches the injection system.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Power loss or hunting under load as the element blocks
  • Water visible in the separator bowl
  • Difficulty starting or air drawn into the system
  • Rising fuel system vacuum on the suction side
  • Visible contamination when the element is cut open

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Drain the water trap at every service interval, not only when the element is changed
  • Prime the system after fitting — air left in the filter housing will prevent starting
  • Six filters in this range differ mainly in capacity and single or twin configuration, so order by part number
