• Tighten the propeller nut to the figure given in the workshop manual for your drive and lock it properly; a nut merely nipped up lets the propeller work on the shaft and ruins the splines
• After the first run, recheck the nut and its locking device, and investigate any vibration — that normally means a damaged, out-of-balance or mismatched propeller
