🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta extension cable from the Cables and Fuses group, weighing 3.415 kg and listed for three applications across IPS pod drives and D series engines — the longest of the seven in this group.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta IPS40-A
  • Volvo Penta D13C8-B MP
  • Volvo Penta D13C4-B MP
  • Engine Family: IPS, D

⚙️ Key Features

  • 3.415 kg — the heaviest of the seven
  • Three applications across IPS pod drives and D series engines

🔌 Function

Extends an existing cable run to reach a component mounted further away.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Intermittent operation as the extension is moved
  • Corroded pins at either connector
  • Insulation chafe along the run
  • Voltage drop over the added length

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Seven extension cables from 1.68 to 3.42 kg share this same three-application fitment — measure the routing and order by part number
  • Weatherproof both connections; an extension adds a joint that can let water in

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
