🔧 Product Description
Genuine Volvo Penta radiator from the Fuel System group, weighing 1.766 kg. It supersedes part number 21307519. Its Fuel System grouping indicates it cools fuel rather than coolant.
⚙️ Key Features
- 1.766 kg
- Supersedes 21307519
- Catalogued under Fuel System — a fuel cooler rather than an engine radiator
- Also supersedes Volvo part numbers 20798891 and 20805387
🔌 Function
Cools the fuel passing through it before it returns to the tank or reaches the injection system.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Fuel temperature higher than specification, showing as power derate
- External leakage at the joints or matrix
- Fins blocked or damaged, reducing airflow
- Internal fouling restricting fuel flow
- Corrosion of the matrix
🛠️ Service Notes
- High fuel temperature causes power derating on many engines, so do not overlook a blocked fuel cooler
- Clean the fins carefully — bent or packed fins cost cooling capacity
