🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta HPCU-A
  • Volvo Penta TB66-A
  • Volvo Penta TB66-150-A
  • Volvo Penta HPCU-B
  • Engine Family: HPCU, TB

⚙️ Key Features

  • Cooling System group kit
  • Four applications across HPCU and TB installations

🔌 Function

Removes moisture from the circuit so water cannot freeze or corrode components downstream.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Moisture carried downstream past the dryer
  • Desiccant saturated and no longer absorbing
  • Corrosion found in downstream components
  • Poor cooling performance from moisture in the circuit
  • Restriction rising as the dryer blocks

🛠️ Service Notes

  • The dryer is a service item — a saturated desiccant releases moisture back into the circuit and corrodes it from inside
  • Renew the dryer whenever the circuit has been opened to atmosphere

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
