Genuine Quicksilver Upper Driveshaft Oil Seal - Part Number: 26-43035

A genuine Quicksilver upper driveshaft oil seal for selected Mercury and Mariner outboard gearcases.

The seal is installed beneath the water-pump base around the driveshaft and normally works with the corresponding lower seal 26-43036. It retains lower-unit lubricant and prevents cooling water from entering the upper gearcase around the driveshaft.

🔌 Function

The seal closes the upper driveshaft passage beneath the water pump, keeping gear lubricant inside the lower unit and preventing water entry around the rotating shaft.

Common signs of failure:
