Genuine Quicksilver Thermostat Rubber Seal - Part Number: 26-854639001

A genuine Quicksilver moulded thermostat seal for selected Mercury and Mariner 3-cylinder and 3.0L V6 outboards.

The seal fits around the thermostat within the cylinder-head or thermostat-cover cavity. It holds the thermostat securely in position and seals the cooling-water passage so flow is directed through the thermostat rather than bypassing its control valve.
