🔌 Function


The pulser coil detects crankshaft timing position and sends the timing signal required for correct ignition control.


Common signs of failure:


• No spark

• Intermittent spark loss

• Hard starting

• Engine cuts out when warm

• Misfire or poor acceleration

• Ignition fault remains after coil and plug checks

• Timing signal returns when a known-good pulser coil is fitted
