🔌 Function
Carries high-pressure fuel to the injectors on cylinders 4 and 5.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Fuel weeping at either union
- Sealing cone scored or deformed
- Fatigue cracking near a bend
- Restricted bore affecting delivery to one cylinder
- Pressure not holding between runs
🛠️ Service Notes
- The clips are supplied with the pipe, so there is no need to order 8631597 separately
- High-pressure fuel pipes are often single-use — check the procedure before refitting
- Refit on its original run; reshaping a high-pressure pipe introduces the crack that fails later
