Genuine BRP Evinrude Johnson Impeller Housing-to-Plate Seal - Part Number: 0331353

A genuine BRP moulded seal installed between the water-pump impeller housing and its underlying plate on selected large Evinrude and Johnson gearcases.

Although commonly described as an O-ring, BRP catalogues identify 0331353 specifically as the impeller-housing-to-plate seal.

It prevents pump pressure from escaping between the housing and plate and helps ensure that cooling water is directed into the water tube.

Important fitment note

  • This seal is not the paper water-pump gasket.
  • It must be positioned in the correct groove between the housing and plate.
  • Twisting, stretching or pinching the seal can cause immediate loss of pump pressure.
