Carries the folding blades and transmits the drive from the propeller shaft to them.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Blades slack or not folding cleanly
• Hub bore or keyway worn
• Corrosion between hub and shaft
• Vibration under way from a poorly seated taper
• Hub working loose on the shaft

🛠️ Service Notes

• Metric hubs run from 25 mm through 3583928, 30 mm through 3583929 and 35 mm here to 40 mm through 3584137
• Check the taper as well as the diameter - a 1:16 SAE shaft needs hub 3583931 or 3583932 instead
• The M24 nut comes with this kit but the 10 mm key does not, so add key 873496 for the 35 mm shaft
• For a complete propeller, order one blade kit and one hub kit.
• Propeller size has to be calculated to match engine and gear ratio - contact your Volvo Penta dealer.
