⚙️ Key Features

• 0.15 mm thick
• 0.016 kg
• 25 D series applications
• Marine Propulsion group

🔌 Function

Adjusts clearance or preload in the assembly by the thickness it adds to the stack.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Clearance or preload out of specification on measurement
• Shim dished, curled or nicked at the edge
• Fretting or bedding marks on either face
• Backlash or end play that has appeared in service
• Corrosion between the shim and its seat

🛠️ Service Notes

• Shim 3586726 is also 0.15 mm thick but weighs 0.039 kg, so it is a physically larger shim for a different seat - thickness alone will not tell you which you need
• Take the measurement first, then order the thickness it calls for
• Shim 3586725 at 0.10 mm is the finer step in the same family

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
