Volvo Penta define a long block as the cylinder block assembly with pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, camshaft, cylinder heads, rocker mechanism, oil pan and valve cover, so the intake and fuel system, exhaust manifold, turbocharger, oil cooler and circulation pump all transfer from your old engine. The reman tables list the same long block for the TAD1241GE and TAD1242GE on both sides of their serial breakpoint - up to serial number 2012347268 and from serial number 2012347269 onwards - in each case with cylinder head 3803667, unit injector 3801293, turbocharger 3801558 and circulation pump 3803909, and with no short block catalogued. It is supplied on an exchange basis: core deposit 3804101 is charged alongside it and refunded once the old unit is returned, so both numbers appear on the order.
