This turbo uses the K26-2960MXA6.71GAAXB specification and is fitted to selected Volvo Penta 31-series, KAD32 and 41-series marine diesel engines. It is a different housing and performance specification from the later K26-7200 turbo used on KAD43 and KAD300 engines.

🔌 Function

The turbocharger converts exhaust-gas energy into compressor-wheel rotation. The compressor supplies pressurised air to the intake and aftercooler system, allowing the engine to develop its designed power and torque while maintaining efficient combustion.
