3803788 Injection Pump | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta remanufactured injection pump weighing 24.94 kg. The reman catalogue lists it against the TAMD102D. It consolidates three earlier numbers, 3825118, 3826519 and 3826521, which between them covered an injection pump and two governors, so the governor comes as part of this assembly rather than as a separate order. Injection pump 3803721 at 24.8 kg is only 140 grams away, so order by number. Supplied on an exchange basis: core deposit 3806788 is charged alongside it and refunded once the old unit is returned, so both numbers appear on the order.

⚙️ Key Features

• Catalogued against the TAMD102D
• 24.94 kg
• Governor included - it consolidates 3825118, 3826519 and 3826521
• Only 140 grams from 3803721, so weight is no guide
• Also supersedes Volvo part number 865409

🔌 Function

Meters and delivers fuel to each injector at the pressure and timing the engine's fuelling calls for, with the governor holding the set speed under changing load.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Hard starting or refusal to start hot
• Loss of power with heavy smoke under load
• Hunting, surging or an erratic idle
• Fuel leaking from the pump body or drive seal
• Governed speed drifting off setting

🛠️ Service Notes

• The governor is part of this assembly, so do not order one separately against the three old numbers
• Have the pump timed and its fuel settings checked on fitting
• Renew the fuel filters and prove the low-pressure supply before condemning a pump
