3804329 Injector Core | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Injector core deposit, listed under Fuel System. It carries the refundable charge raised against the worn injector you send back when an exchange unit is bought, and it is an accounting entry rather than a part - nothing ships against the number. The matching line is part 3801329 - order that for the injector. The row carries a recorded weight of 0.907 kg. Injector deposit 3804330 carries the same name, the same group and the same recorded weight of 0.907 kg, so nothing on the two rows separates them - go by the part number and by the unit each one is paired to.

⚙️ Key Features

• A deposit line, not a shippable part
• Refunded on return of the old injector
• Pairs with part 3801329
• 0.907 kg recorded

🔌 Function

Books the refundable deposit on an exchange injector and closes it out on return of the old one.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• This is a deposit line and has nothing to fail in itself; the signs below are what normally condemns the injector being exchanged
• Combustion gas blowing past the seat, sooting the holder and burning the copper washer
• Rough idle with a misfire that can be traced to one cylinder
• Hard starting, black or white smoke, and fuel consumption creeping up
• A knock or rattle from one cylinder that changes with load

🛠️ Service Notes

• The charge on this line is refunded on return of the old injector.
• Ordering this number on its own supplies no part - the injector comes from its paired line, part 3801329.
• Check which unit the engine actually takes before ordering - 3804329 and 3804330 cannot be told apart from their records alone.

📦 Condition

• Refundable core deposit - not a physical part
