Distributes hydraulic flow between pump, cylinders and return line through one block with its ports and internal passages.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Steering slow, heavy or uneven between port and starboard
  • Oil weeping at a port or union
  • Internal leakage, so the helm creeps under load
  • Ports or threads damaged or cross-threaded
  • Contamination found in the valve bores

  • Cap every port as it comes off and keep everything spotless, because hydraulic manifolds are unforgiving of dirt
  • Bleed the steering fully and check for creep before the boat goes back into service
