• Work out what else the installation needs before ordering: sensor kit 3809099 for conventional steering, plus mounting kit 3594073 on DPH and DPR, and nothing extra on IPS or on Aquamatic and inboard with electronic steering
• White-faced 3812917 is the same instrument for light-coloured panels
• Check and recalibrate the rudder feedback sender before condemning the gauge, and confirm the amidships setting after fitting
