A genuine used Volvo Penta mounting bracket for the serpentine-belt tensioner on selected GM-based V6 and V8 petrol marine engines.

The bracket mounts to the front of the engine and provides the rigid support required by the automatic belt tensioner. It maintains the correct tensioner angle and serpentine-belt alignment between the crankshaft, alternator and driven accessories.

🔌 Function

The bracket anchors the automatic belt tensioner to the engine. It keeps the tensioner square to the serpentine belt and maintains correct belt tracking across the alternator, crankshaft and accessory pulleys.
