🔌 Function

Carries fuel between two connections in a hose rated for fuel service, absorbing the movement between them.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Smell of fuel or a damp, dark film at the hose ends
• Hose gone hard and cracked, or swollen and soft
• Weeping under pressure that stops when the engine does
• Air being drawn in on the suction side, giving rough running or stalling
• Lining breaking up and blocking a filter

🛠️ Service Notes

• An older parts list will show this hose as 3817446, which is the number to check against on the part you remove
• Use only a hose rated for fuel and renew the clips with it, since a fuel leak in an engine space is a fire risk
• Check the filters for lining debris if the old hose was breaking down internally
