⚙️ Key Features

• 78.018 kg muffler
• Supersedes 3829250
• For the TAD series
• Listed for 10 applications

🔌 Function

Silences the exhaust by passing the gas through internal chambers and baffles that break up the pressure pulses before they leave the boat.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Exhaust noticeably louder or with a changed note
• Rattling or ringing from inside the muffler as baffles break up
• Soot or gas leaking at a seam or joint
• Back pressure rising, with power down and higher exhaust temperature
• Shell rusted or corroded through, usually from the bottom

🛠️ Service Notes

• At 78.018 kg this is a hoist lift and a freight item, not something to be handled by one person or shipped as an ordinary parcel
• Muffler 3819666 at 3.328 kg is the small muffler in this range, so there is no risk of confusing the two on size - order by part number and installation
• Renew the joint gaskets and clamps, and check the supporting brackets, since a heavy muffler that has been poorly supported will have strained its mountings
