3819863 Spacer | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta spacer from the Marine Propulsion group, weighing 0.184 kg. It supersedes part number 3589702, which was catalogued earlier both as a kit and as a tilt limit.

⚙️ Key Features

• Marine propulsion spacer
• 0.184 kg
• Supersedes 3589702, catalogued earlier as a kit and as a tilt limit
• This part it must be ordered by the grade or measured thickness specified for your engine, not by weight

🔌 Function

Sets a fixed distance in the assembly, packing out a joint so the parts either side sit at the correct spacing.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Assembly sitting closer or further apart than it should
• Movement or knock where the spacer should hold the setting
• Spacer crushed, dished or fretted on its faces
• Corrosion built up on the spacer faces, changing the effective spacing

🛠️ Service Notes

• The number this replaces was listed as a kit and as a tilt limit, so old paperwork may not call it a spacer at all - check what you are actually being sent
• Spacer 3819864 at 0.907 kg is the heavier of the pair and replaces the neighbouring number 3589703, so the two are a related set - order by part number
