🔌 Function

Sets a fixed distance in the assembly, packing out a joint so the parts either side sit at the correct spacing.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Assembly no longer holding its correct spacing
• Knock or play where the spacer should be taking the load
• Spacer dished, crushed or fretted on a face
• Corrosion scale on the faces altering the effective thickness

🛠️ Service Notes

• The number it replaces was listed as a kit and as a tilt limit, so check whether you are being offered a single spacer or a set of parts
