• For engines from serial number 280700 onwards
• Supersedes 846482, catalogued earlier as an exhaust pipe
• 43.5 kg
• 5 applications across TMD and TAMD

🔌 Function

Collects the exhaust from each cylinder and delivers it to the turbocharger or exhaust outlet as one flow.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Ticking or puffing at the head joint that eases as the engine warms
• Sooty black tracks radiating from a flange face
• Cracks between branches or at a mounting boss
• Studs seized, snapped or pulled out of the manifold
• Exhaust smell in the engine space and blackening of nearby paintwork

🛠️ Service Notes

• An engine listed against the old exhaust pipe number 846482 takes this manifold, but only from serial number 280700 onwards
• At 43.5 kg it needs supporting while the studs are started, and all gaskets, nuts and any seized studs should be renewed
• Manifold 3825359 at 60 kg is the sibling on 8 TMD and TAMD applications, so match the serial breakpoint before ordering
